horses for sale and breeding services, Haras das Mangueiras also
offers training, boarding and lay-up service. Beginning and
advanced schooling of horses are offered with special emphasis on
kind and rational training regimes. Competent staff are present at
the farm 24 hours a day with on-call availability of excellent
veterinary and farrier care.
IMPORTING A LUSITANO TO THE US
Importing a Lusitano from HARAS DAS MANGUEIRAS is just part of the day to day routine of running an International horse farm.
Health exams are scheduled by our professional staff.
When all the paperwork is delivered and signed off on, the export agency assigns a date and flight time for shipping.
We deliver your horse to the export agency at the right time.
The actual flight time for the horse is around eight to nine hours from Brazil to
Florida or California.
Horses are shipped in groups of three. This insures that horses have other horses for company.
Upon arriving in the US, horses are quarantined for seven days, then picked up by a commercial carrier or owner, to travel to their new home.
